This mural was painted in Columbus, Ohio, near the Weiland Park and Italian Village neighborhoods, for the Short North Arts District, Thrive Companies, and Fifth & Fourth. I was selected after a statewide search and call-to-artist competition in which three artists were selected to create a design. My design was chosen as the winner and I was honored to paint this mural for the Columbus, Ohio community. The mural design is somewhat abstract and inspired by chrome hood ornaments. The client wished to pay homage to the chrome factory that existed at this location before the Thrive Companies built the existing Fifth & Fourth apartment complex.
