Caught in the Act

This mural was completed in conjunction with a summer mural workshop taught by Jeremy Jarvis. The mural’s concept was conceived in a class session with Jarvis, Amanda Keeton (assistant instructor) and 10 mural workshop high school students. Jeremy Jarvis designed the mural and planned its process so that the students could easily contribute to the process and learn how to execute a mural from conception to final painting. The mural’s subject matter consists of a group of construction crew cats building bird houses for a number of curious and skeptical birds.
